Cagliari, 20th October 2021. Registration for the 9th Sardinia Trail is officially open.  The exciting Utratrail in stages that will run in the spectacular scenery of Ogliastra in days 14, 15 and 16 MAY 2021 crossing the pristine territory of Sardinia to discover places of incomparable beauty, between the mountains of Gennargentu, the Supramonte of Urzulei and the unique sea of Ogliastra.

100 km to run in a real paradise suspended between land and sea able to reserve great emotions. The route winds in three stages with 4,000 meters of elevation gain, with paths immersed in the most primitive nature among breathtaking landscapes.

There are three evocative trails, all designed to suit trail fans, accustomed to travel extreme distances, but also suitable for all those who want to try an alternative holiday in unforgettable places of sport and wellness to share with the family.

The Sardinia Trail is also a unique and unrepeatable opportunity to visit the island: thanks to this event you can discover its hidden corners: an emotion that only Sardinia, with its folklore, its gastronomy and the warmth of its people will be able to offer you.

THE ROUTE
100 km of route that develops into a three-day program consisting of 3 stages with 4,000 meters of altitude gain. First stage - K34 Supramonte of Urzulei, Second stage - K38 crossing the massif of Gennargentu with passage to Punta La Marmora, Third and last stage - K28 beach Foxi Tertenia- Monte Ferru-beach of Museddu Cardedu 

LOCATION
The prestigious 4-star Hotel Club Saraceno Hotel Club Saraceno on the beach of San Gemiliano in Arbatax-Tortolì has been confirmed as the logistic base of the event. 

This year, to make it easier for all athletes to participate in this magical experience, a special registration formula will be adopted. In fact, you can take advantage of a special blocked tariff of € 500.00 for those who sign up for the Sardinia Trail by 28 February 2021.

To enjoy this particular facility, you will need to pre-register for the race by paying a fee of € 100 by December 31, 2020, so you can make the final balance of € 400.00 by February 28, 2021.
